Delete your account
Organizers have accounts. Buyers do not: a ticket is a link, not a login. This page covers both, and says what has to be kept and why.

Delete an organizer account
Email support@kuriolabsltd.com from the address the account was created with, with the subject Delete my Tickus account. If you are writing from a different address, include the account’s email and the name or link of one of its events so we can confirm the account is yours.
We action the request within 30 days. The account is closed as soon as it is processed, so sign in and download anything you need from the dashboard (ticket numbers, payouts) before you write.
What is deleted
- Your name, company name and email address.
- Your password hash, and every session signed in to the account.
- The payout bank account details you added.
- Your events and their pages, once nothing on them is still owed to a buyer. An event with tickets sold for a future date is voided and its buyers are written to first, because deleting it would leave them holding a pass to a page that no longer exists.
- The banner images you uploaded.
- Gate operators you created and their access codes, which stop working immediately.
What is kept, and why
- Orders, payments and ledger entries. These are financial records. Nigerian tax and accounting rules require them to be kept, and a buyer’s refund or claim may still depend on them. They are kept without your profile attached to them.
- Check-in records. An attendance record belongs to the event and to the organizer who relied on it. It is kept as a count and a timestamp; the operator names can be removed on request.
- Audit records of the account being closed, which are what proves the closure happened.
None of the retained records is used to contact you or to market anything to you.
If you bought a ticket
You do not have an account to delete. Your name and email are attached to the order, and until the event happens they are the ticket: the pass link, the receipt and the organizer’s record of who is coming. Removing them before the event would remove the pass.
After the event, email the address above with the order reference and ask for your name and email to be removed. They are removed from the order, and the transaction record is kept without them. If you would rather not wait, ask us to take your details off the order and void the pass with it, and say so in the message.
If you worked the gate
A gate operator is not an account of its own: an organizer creates the code that signs you in. Ask the organizer to deactivate it, and they can also delete your name. If you cannot reach them, write to us with the event and the name you were given.
What this page does not cover
The privacy policy says what is collected in the first place and how long each kind of record is kept. Contact has the addresses and what to include for anything else. Tickus is operated by Kuriolabs Ltd.
